A new temporary exhibit, “The Secret Postcard Society,” was installed and unveiled by the Women’s Art Association of Canada at Toronto’s First Post Office on Oct. 26.
As a means of coping with the COVID-19 pandemic and the crisis of isolation and uncertainty, a group of talented artists from the Women’s Art Association of Canada created one-of-a-kind postcards and mailed them to each other as a way of lifting spirits and staying socially connected. The artists then curated their postcards into an exhibition, which will be on display in the museum until January.
