The Markham Stamp Club is now hosting meetings on the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month at the Markham Village Arena on 6041 Highway 7 East, which is east of Markham Road (Highway 48) beside the Markham Village Library.
The meetings will be held from 10 a.m.-noon and include free parking and admission as well as wheelchair access. According to the club’s executive, there have been “several exciting and fruitful meetings” as well as a “growing membership with good attendance at each meeting.”
The meetings include a silent auction and a sales table with a large assortment of covers, Canadian stamps and assorted world stamps provide by “many vest pocket dealers from 15 per cent of catalogue value.”
