WTSC, one of three co-hosts for Royal 2019, puts out call for volunteers

The West Toronto Stamp Club (WTSC), which is co-hosting the 2019 Royal Philatelic Society of Canada (RPSC) Convention along with the Bramalea Stamp Club and CSN, is putting out a call for volunteers for the show in Mississauga this June.

There will be “many small and some larger jobs where your assistance will be needed,” wrote WTSC President Sid Mensinga in the club’s May newsletter. These roles might include set-up and tear-down, working with the exhibits and frames or staffing a club table for “an hour or two.”

“Not only is your attendance encouraged but also the club needs your volunteer time to ensure the success of this major philatelic event. If all of us help, even in a small way, we can ensure the Royal is a success.”

If you’re interested in volunteering for the June 21-23 show, contact show chair Joe Trauzzi at jtrauzzi@yahoo.ca.
