There are five shows on the philatelic calendar this week.
Today is the final day of the 14th annual Canadian Coin, Stamp and Collectibles Show, held at John Paul II Polish Cultural Centre in Mississauga, Ont. Sponsored by the Troyak Club, the show will be open from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and feature more than 30 dealers with 60 tables of material, including Canadian and worldwide stamps, coins, banknotes and hobby supplies.
QUEBEC
Taking place later this week is Nuphilex, the largest stamp and coin show in Canada. The three-day show will be held at Complex EVO on 420 Sherbooke St. W., in Montreal, Que. The bourse will be open on March 10-11 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and on March 12 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission is $3 on the first two days and free on closing day.
TORONTO
On March 11, the North Toronto Stamp Club (NTSC) will host its Spring Bourse at Yorkminster Park Baptist Church on 1585 Yonge St., in Toronto, Ont. The show will be open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and feature 22 dealers and more than 100 sales circuit books. Admission is free.
Also on March 11 is Winpex 2017, the annual show of the Essex County Stamp Club. Held at Caboto Club in Windsor, Ont., the show will include 14 dealers as well as a display of philatelic exhibits, free door prizes and a free youth program, including free stamps for school-aged children. Admission is free.
MONCTON
Rounding out this week’s show is the Moncton Stamp Fair, being held at the Royal Canadian Legion on 100 War Veterans Ave., in Moncton, N.B. The show will run from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and admission and parking are free.
