The Week in Shows (April 16-22)

There are six shows on the philatelic calendar this week.

On April 21-22, the International Stamp Show of Montreal – EXUP 42 – will be held at Maison du Citoyen on 7501 Rue François-Perreault in Montréal, Que. Advertised as the biggest stamp show in Montréal, it will feature 15 dealers and several philatelic exhibits. The bourse will be open to the public on April 21 from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and on April 22 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission is free.

WATERLOO, ONT.

Also on April 22 is Stampfest 2017, which is being hosted by the Kitchener-Waterloo Philatelic Society at St. John’s Lutheran Church on 22 Willow St. in Waterloo, Ont. The bourse will include nearly 20 dealers, as well as sales circuit books and a competitive judged exhibition. A youth booth will also feature a “sea of stamps.”

PETERBOROUGH, ONT.

Kapex 2017 is also being held on April 22 at the Evinrude Centre on 911 Monaghan Rd. in Peterborough, Ont. Hosted by the Kawartha Stamp Club, the show will be open from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. and feature upwards of 15 dealers. Club sales circuit books and a sales table will also be available. The show will also feature juried exhibits, a silent auction and raffle and door prizes. Gifts will also be given to every child attendee. Admission and parking are free.

SUDBURY. ONT.

The Sudbury Stamp Show will also be held on April 22 at the Parkside Adult Centre on 140 Durham St. in Sudbury, Ont. The show will be open to the public from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Free underground parking is available.

KAMLOOPS, B.C.

April 22 is also the Kamloops Stamp Club Annual Show, Sale and Auction, which is being held at the Sahali Shopping Centre on 945 Columbia St. W. in Kamloops, B.C.

DARTMOUTH, N.S.

Rounding out the week in shows is Novapex 2017, a regional stamp exhibition and bourse hosted by the Nova Scotia Stamp Club on April 22-23.

Being held at the Dartmouth Seniors Centre on 45 Ochterloney St. in Dartmouth, N.S., the show will be open from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on April 22 and from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on April 23. Admission and parking are free. The show will feature 10 dealers and upwards of 70 exhibit frames.
