In honour of National Stamp Collecting Month—celebrated in many countries, including Canada, each October—the Canadian Museum of History has released a video detailing the virtues of stamp collecting.
The museum’s Canadian Stamp Collection exhibition is a unique, more-than-3,000-stamp collection featuring every postage stamp ever issued in Canada (including pre-Confederation stamps issued by what was then British North America).
According to the museum’s curators, this “living collection” expands each year as new stamps are issued.
