Trajan’s Fall ‘National Show’ cancelled

The fall edition of the National Postage Stamp and Coin Show, slated for Sept. 12-13, is cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Organized biannually by CSN and Canadian Coin News, the two-day show is held at the Hilton Mississauga in Mississauga, Ont., with a combined bourse of 50 dealers, a two-day auction, several seminars and thousands of collectors coming through the door throughout the weekend. The health and safety of our dealers, staff and show-goers remain our top priority.

The Premier Auction by Kitchener, Ont.’s Colonial Acres will continue online on Sept. 11-12. For more details, contact Tenesha Parsons at tparsons@colonialacres.com or Todd Sandham at tsandham@colonialacres.com.

STAGE 3

Mississauga, which is part of Peel Region, and Toronto moved into “Stage 3” today, expanding indoor gatherings to a maximum of 50 people from 10 people.

National Show organizers explored how to modify the show to make it happen under the Stage 3 maximum, but the options are limited and simply unfeasible.

In place of the fall show, organizers are looking for options to offer an online virtual show this fall. It will not be the Facebook format used last spring. More details will be announced by late August.

Meanwhile, please mark the 2021 National Show dates – April 10-11 and Sept. 11-12 – on your calendars.

Thank you for your continued support. The Trajan family wishes you and your family an enjoyable and most importantly safe summer.
