There are two major shows, including Canada’s largest deltiology event, slated to take place across the country this week.
First up is the Toronto Postcard Club 38th Annual Sale, which is being held today at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre on 6 Garamond Crt., in Toronto. Hosted by the Toronto Postcard Club, the show is Canada’s largest vintage postcard show with 40 tables and thousands of postcards for sale from many countries and highlighting countless topics.
The show will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., admission is $5 and parking is free.
QUÉBEC
Later this week, on March 1-3, Nuphilex will be held at a new venue—the McGill New Residence Hall on 3625 Parc Ave., in Montréal. Admission is $5 on Friday and Saturday and free on Sunday. Early bird admission is $25 and begins Friday at 8 a.m.
The bourse will be open to the public on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
NEXT WEEK
Looking forward to next week, there are four shows on the philatelic docket.
These include:
- the Mississauga Coin and Stamp Show, to be held March 3 in Mississauga;
- the North Toronto Stamp Club Spring Bourse, to be held March 9 in Toronto;
- Winpex 2019, to be held March 9 in Windsor, Ont.; and
- the monthly Moncton Stamp Fair, to be held March 9 in Moncton, N.B.
