‘Stamp Talks’ update from RPSC

The Royal Philatelic Society of Canada (RPSC) has made several updates to its 2022 Stamp Talks schedule, which CSN covered in a previous issue (“RPSC unveils 2022 virtual seminar series,” Vol. 46 #22).

RPSC historian Charles Verge will now present “The History of CAPEX” on April 11, which was yet to be announced before CSN’s previous issue.

RPSC past president George Pepall’s presentation,“ Discovering the Stamps of France,” which was originally slated for April, has moved to Aug. 8.

Two other speakers – Wendi Trauzzi and Sam Chiu – have also swapped dates, with Trauzzi now speaking on Oct. 10 (“WWII Rationing in Canada”) and Chiu on Nov. 14 (“Canada’s C-Force in Hong Kong”).

Altogether, the RPSC will host 24 virtual events split between two series, “Stamp Talks” and “Stamp Panels,” both of which are held monthly on Mondays at 7 p.m. (ET).
