Regina Philatelic Club joins Northwest Federation of Stamp Clubs

The Regina Philatelic Club, located in Regina, Sask., recently joined the Northwest Federation of Stamp Clubs (NWFSC), which is Affiliate #1006 of The Royal Philatelic Society of Canada.

Formed in 1910, the Regina Philatelic Club currently boasts about 40 members. The club meets on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from September to May and sponsors an annual show every February.

The NWFSC includes nearly 40 member clubs and philatelic organizations in British Columbia and Alberta as well as Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. With the exception of a short period of inactivity during the Second World War, the organization has served as a common meeting ground for organized philatelic interests within these Canadian provinces and U.S. states. It also hosts an annual World Series of Philately show.
