The Vincent Graves Greene (VGG) Philatelic Research Foundation has launched its newly designed website at greenefoundation.ca.
For those who don’t know, the Philatelic Research Foundation was established in 1975 following a series of gifts donated by Vinny Greene, who was considered the “Dean of Canadian Philatelists.”
The VGG website states Greene was a signatory of the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists; a recipient of the Lichtenstein Award; a Fellow of both the Royal Philatelic Society of London and Royal Philatelic Society of Canada; and served on many international juries.
The foundation’s primary purpose is to encourage and promote research in philately and postal history. The Harry Sutherland Philatelic Library, located on site, is open for use by special arrangement.
