New Issue: UNPA celebrates World Post Day

Yesterday, the United Nations Postal Administration (UNPA) marked World Post Day with a new issue released at the American Stamp Dealers Association (ASDA) Fall New York Postage Stamp Show.

On Oct. 6, UNPA issued a special event sheet of 10 stamps to commemorate World Post Day, which is celebrated each year on Oct. 9, the anniversary of the establishment of the Universal Postal Union. The purpose of World Post Day is to bring awareness to the Post’s role in the everyday lives of people and businesses, as well as its contribution to global social and economic development.
