The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) recently issued a commemorative stamp featuring the historic inauguration of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, who took his oath as the 16th President of the Republic of the Philippines in June.
Duterte is the fourth chief executive of the country and the first from Mindanao who took oath in Malacañang Palace in Manila, capital city of the Philippines.
PHLPost printed 150,000 pieces of the inauguration stamp as well as 10,000 copies of a limited-edition souvenir sheet. The stamp comes with a commemorative first-day cover featuring the Philippine Flag and the official seal of the President with Malacañang Palace.
