Croatian Post Mostar recently issued a commemorative postage stamp, postmark and first-day cover to celebrate International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, which was proclaimed by the United Nations in 2013.
A first-day cover and postmark were also issued as part of the release.
Issued in sheets of eight stamps, the new release features a motif of athletics designed by artist Magdalena Džinić Hrkać. The multi-coloured stamps – each measuring 48.28 mm x 29.82 mm (horizontal) – were first used in Bosnia and Herzegovina earlier this month following a print run of 70,000 stamps by printing firm Zrinski Čakovec.
