Missing collection found in Penticton, B.C.

Officers with the Penticton Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) have recovered what they believe to be a philatelists valuable stamp collection.

Police say they seized the large” collection from a suspicious vehicle during a traffic stop on Aug. 25 on Skaha Lake Road. No images of the collection or its contents were shared by police.

RCMP believe the collection is of value and that the individual did not own the property,” according to Cpl. James Grandy with the Penticton RCMP.

Anyone whos missing a stamp collection and believes theyre the rightful owner should call the Penticton detachment at 1-250-492-4300 (quote file #2023-13859).
