KGVI Study Group launches new bulletin

The King George VI Study Group, an affiliate of the British North America Philatelic Society, recently launched a short bimonthly bulletin “to increase the frequency of correspondence with its members on a regular basis.”

The KGVI Herald Dispatch will highlight current events and other news of interest to the group’s members and is now available online. With its first two editions released in April and June, the Herald Dispatch will complement the group’s regular newsletter, Post & Mail, which was launched in 2003.

Study group member Stephen Prest has volunteered to compile issues of the Herald Dispatch through this year.

“We decided that if we were to publish a bulletin of two pages in length, this could be done on a bimonthly basis thus allowing more frequent contact with and between our members,” wrote Gary Steele, study group chair, in the first edition of the Herald Dispatch.
