HSPL announces spring 2019 hours

This spring’s “Open Saturday” dates and extended hours were recently announced by the Harry Sutherland Philatelic Library (HSPL).

Located at 10 Summerhill Ave. in downtown Toronto, the library is part of the Toronto-based Vincent Graves Greene Philatelic Research Foundation. Its regular hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

This spring, the library will also open its doors on two Saturdays—May 11 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and June 8 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., the latter of which will coincide with the nearby North Toronto Stamp Club Summer Bourse.

The library is also set to extend its hours on two Wednesdays – May 22 and June 26 – when it will remain open until 7 p.m.

The HSPL is also available for use by appointment, and its catalogue is searchable via greenefoundation.ca.

The library’s collection holds more than 10,000 items, including nearly 7,000 books and 600 journals, among the highlights of which is the world’s best offering of British North American reference material.

To sign up for the library’s Friends of the Harry Sutherland Newsletter and receive the latest updates, email library@greenefoundation.ca or call 1-416-921-2073.
