GTAPA goes virtual with single-page competition

The Greater Toronto Area Philatelic Alliance (GTAPA) held its first virtual single-page exhibition during the group’s April 28 Zoom meeting.

“The peer judging was difficult as all of the submissions were of the highest standard, both in elements and quality,” reads a special exhibition insert published in the summer edition of PhilaJournal, the GTAPA’s all-digital quarterly newsletter.

Among the 14 entries, Sue Scott’s “Osprey” exhibit won first place; Karl Wysotski’s “Barn Owl” took home second place; and Larry Friend plus Tony Manson shared third place for their respective exhibits, “The History of Lundy Island Postage Service” and “A Letter Home: Fifth Boy Scout World Jamboree.”
