François Brisse receives the Médaille de l’Académie

On the occasion of the EXUP-50 exhibition celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Union des philatelistes de Montréal, the president of the Académie québécoise d’études philatéliques (AQEP) presented the Médaille de l’Académie to François Brisse.

The Médaille de l’Académie is presented occasionally to mark an exceptional achievement or for a remarkable commitment to philately. “François Brisse has made an exceptional contribution to Quebec and Canadian philately with the creation of more than 400 illustrated commemorative cancellations over the last 40 years,” emphasized AQEP President Cimon Morin.
