The St. Lawrence Neighbourhood Association (SLNA) will celebrate its 40th anniversary at St. Lawrence Hall this February, and the group’s members are inviting Toronto’s entire “Old Town” community to attend.
The goal is to have 1,000 letters written during the Feb. 14 event by locals, visitors and tourists highlighting “what they love most about the oldest part of the city,” according to a statement issued by the SLNA. “These letters will then be hidden throughout the St. Lawrence Neighbourhood to spread the love and share the gratitude so many have for the place where Toronto began.”
Letters can also be written at Toronto’s First Post Office leading up to Feb. 14 to help the SLNA reach its goal. For more details, visit slna.ca.
