Christmas card, parcel deadlines approach

As philatelists ink up their season greetings cards to mail to family and friends this holiday season, Canada Post has provided a list of deadlines to ensure cards and Christmas parcels are delivered before Dec. 25.

Dec. 9 is the recommended deadline for mailing Christmas parcels across Canada using regular parcel delivery. Deadlines for enhanced delivery services, including priority, Xpresspost and expedited parcel, are a little later.

Canada Post’s online guide lists all deadlines for domestic and international mail, including sending Christmas parcels locally, regionally and nationally.
