Dear Subscribers,
We understand how important receiving Canadian Stamp News is to you, and we regret to inform you of a service disruption that may temporarily affect your print deliveries.
Earlier today, Nov. 15, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) announced a strike involving approximately 55,000 members across its urban, rural, and suburban mail carrier (RSMC) bargaining units. Canada Post has stated that its operations are currently shut down, affecting mail and parcel delivery across the country. Unfortunately, this means that mail and parcels already in the system may face delays, and no new items are being accepted for processing.
In light of these challenges, we want to assure you that we are doing everything we can to keep you connected with Canadian Stamp News. During this postal service interruption, all print subscribers will receive a digital copy of the publication delivered directly to their email inbox. This temporary solution will remain in place until regular mail service resumes. Once the strike has ended, we will ensure that all print issues delayed by the interruption are sent to you.
The next issue of Canadian Stamp News (Vol. 49, No. 17) is scheduled for release on Tuesday, Nov. 19. If the strike continues, we will provide a digital copy of this issue to our print subscribers who have an email address on file.
We deeply appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Our team is here to help at 1-800-408-0352 or by email at info@trajan.ca. Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST.
Thank you for your continued support, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Sincerely,
The Canadian Stamp News Team
