CSN seeking book reviewer

Canadain Stamp News is seeking a philatelist interested in becoming the magazine’s book reviewer.

“David Piercey was our book reviewer for several years and did a remarkable job providing a thorough description, analysis and evaluation of numerous philatelic books,” says CSN Editor Mike Walsh. David Piercey died on Oct. 4, 2023.

Walsh says he’s reaching out to the philatelic community looking for an individual with a passion for reading and writing to become CSN’s next book reviewer.

“I’m looking for an individual who can commit to writing six to 12 reviews a year,” adds Walsh, who is also open to having more than one reviewer. The position does include a stipend, and most publishers provide review copies at no cost.

If interested, please forward a letter of interest, including at least two writing samples, to Mike Walsh at: mwalsh@trajan.ca.
