The Collectors Club of Chicago (CCC) has introduced two new awards, the Gold Medallion Award and the Award of Excellence, for presentation at major philatelic exhibitions.
Rich Drews and Kathy Johnson developed the detailed criteria and jury instructions for the two awards. Each of the documents is available on the American Philatelic Society (APS) website or via Charles Cwiakala, the chair of the CCC exhibit awards program, at CECwiakala@aol.com.
The engraved CCC Gold Medallion Award is available to APS-sponsored World Series of Philately shows and to select major international exhibition events.
The CCC Award of Excellence is available for the annual APS-sponsored Great American Stamp Show and once a year for a selected major international exhibition.
