On today’s date in 2022, CAPEX 22 organizers published the official palmares catalogue, available in both print and digital formats, for Canada’s first international show in 26 years,
CSN produced the digital catalogue for free via canadianstampnews.com/capex-palmares while the print version was available through the online retailer Amazon for $32.23.
Hosted in Toronto by the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada, CAPEX 22, the world’s first International One-Frame Championship Exhibition, took place from June 9-12 with about 500 exhibits, including 388 judged single-frame entries plus 107 literature entries.
The palmares catalogue listed the full results of each exhibition, including the single-frame, literature and team competitions plus the show’s five Grand Prix winners and dozens of special prize winners. The 82-page catalogue also includes the final jury and expert team reports plus dozens of photographs from throughout the four-day event.
“This is a definite keepsake for all exhibitors, organizers and a must for any philatelic library,” according to a statement from organizers on the CAPEX website, capex22.org.
