Collectors were invited to enter competitive exhibits for the combined StampShow, National Topical Stamp Show and Americover on Aug. 10-13 in Cleveland, Ohio, before the May 5 application deadline.

The Great American Stamp Show includes thematic, first-day cover and open competitions for multi-frame and single-frame exhibits plus the annual World Series of Philately “Champion of Champions” and the “Most Popular Champion of Champions” competitions. The show will also include the 54th annual Literature Exhibition.

The philatelic exhibit jury includes:

  • Chief Judge Ken Nilsestuen, of Ohio;
  • Mark Banchik, of California;
  • Sam Chiu, of Toronto;
  • Lisa Foster, of Washington;
  • Matthew Liebson, of Ohio;
  • Ed Kroft, of Vancouver, B.C.; and
  • Jay Stotts, of Texas.

Officials will soon announce additional jury members.

The Fédération Internationale de Philatélie jury includes Chief Judge John Hotchner, of Virginia, and Charles Verge, of Toronto.

The literature competition jury also includes Hotchner, who will serve as the chief judge for this class, plus Florida’s William DiPaolo and New Jersey’s Hal Vogel.
