While in Columbus at the American Philatelic Society (APS) StampShow, award-winning exhibitor Sam Chiu, who’s also the vice-president of The Royal Philatelic Society of Canada, was presented with the American Association of Philatelic Exhibitors (AAPE) Diamond Award.
Chiu is only the second Canadian to receive this award, which is given to an exhibitor who has received 10 golds or more at 10 different APS World Series of Philately shows within one decade. AAPE membership is a requirement for consideration at the time of receiving the Diamond Award.
Chiu has also earned more than 100 medals at national and international exhibitions.
