‘Canadian Aerophilatelist’ journal wins large vermeil in New Zealand

The Canadian Aerophilatelist, the quarterly journal of the Canadian Aerophilatelic Society (CAS), recently won a large vermeil in the literature class of the 16th New Zealand Philatelic Exhibition.

“I’ve exchanged journals with the New Zealand Air Mail Society for many years, and the editor of their journal encouraged me to enter The Canadian Aerophilatelist in the New Zealand Philatelic Exhibition,” says Chris Hargreaves, who adds the recent award “is a very nice step up from the vermeil we won at the American Philatelic Society’s Stampshow in 2017.”

The Canadian Aerophilatelist was first published in July 1985. For a full index, click here.

The 16th New Zealand Philatelic Exhibition was held Sept. 28-29 in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Congratulations to Canada’s national aerophilatelic group.
