Canada Post opens door to postcards requests

This March, Canada Post began delivering a free postage-paid postcard to all of Canada’s 13.5 million residential addresses (“Canadian households to receive free postage-paid postcards,” CSN Vol. 45 #24).

While each address was automatically entitled to a free postcard, Canada Post has since invited people who haven’t received one to fill out an online form at bit.ly/3x8GqGM.

There are 12 different versions (six designs, each available in English and French, respectively), and they’re delivered at random; however, Canada Post is also welcoming what it calls “special requests” via writenow@canadapost.ca.

“While Canada Post will do its best to send a postage-paid postcard to those who request one (limit 1 postcard per address), the number of available postcards is limited,” reads the Crown corporation’s website.
