Eastern Auctions is offering two significant collections this Friday and Saturday.
The third portion of this legendary collection is presented in the Grand Prix collection of the Province of Canada Pence and Cents, formed by the late Ron Brigham. Featuring many of the greatest rarities with proofs and stamps, including famous multiples and important postal history. The most anticipated and celebrated collection of Canada Pence and Cents since the famous Dale-Lichtenstein collection more than 50 years ago. The Glen Lundeen Collection of the Admiral Issue of Canada – Part 3 starts this Saturday (Lots 501-632) at 1:30 p.m. Atlantic Time (12:30 pm EST). This pre-eminent collection’s third and final portion features numerous rarities of this popular definitive series that have not been seen since the extensive George Marler and C.M. Jephcott sales in 1982 and 1990, respectively. The collection represents the finest and most expansive offering of die proofs and plate multiples ever seen at auction; it also contains some of the most elusive lathework and significant multiples. The sale concludes with specialized large lots and collection balances.
