BNAPEX seeks Kingston exhibits for court of honour

The philatelic history of Kingston, Ont., from 1673 to the present day is the theme of a “Special Court of Honour” planned for the 2024 BNAPEX, scheduled for Aug. 23-25.

“The Court of Honour will include one-page exhibits on this theme, to which everybody is invited to participate,” states an article in the December newsletter of the British North America Philatelic Society. “This will be a fun, non-competitive exhibit that will not be restricted by the exhibiting guidelines for postal history but can include anything that has gone through or was intended to go through the mail to or from Kingston – including covers such as RPOs and military mail, as well as postmarks, advertising, special event covers and stamps.”

The 2024 BNAPEX will be held at St. Lawrence College in Kingston. The deadline for submitting entries to the Court of Honour is July 1. For more details, visit the BNAPS website at bnaps.org.
