B.C. collectors, does this recovered collection belong to you?

Officers with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in Prince George, B.C., are seeking the owner of what they call a “rare coin and stamp collection.”

On Aug. 3, members of the Prince George RCMP found the collection, which includes at least one stamp album plus old Whitman coin albums for several Canadian denominations.

“We are looking to reunite the owners of this collection with their belongings. If you can describe to us what other coins and stamps are in this collection, we would be happy to return them to you,” said Corporal Jennifer Cooper, referring to two images shown nearby.

Police also recovered several Whitman coin albums.

If the collection belongs to you, or you know its owner, you’re asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at 1-250-561-3300 (quote file number “2021-29114”).

Rare or not rare, there is nothing more frustrating than invest your heart (and wallet!) collecting stamps and coin and have them stolen. It really sucks.
I hope whoever own them will contact the RCMP.
