The annual Stamp Camp organized by the Philatelic Youth Council of New Zealand (PYC) continued the success of recent years with another “great” outing this April.
This year’s show – held April 17-23 and hosted by the Hutt Valley Junior Stamp Club – took place at the Wellington Cadet Centre in Wellington, New Zealand. PYC representatives said the Stamp Camp is a “great time for young philatelists from across the country come together to spend a week planning and constructing their philatelic exhibits as well as reconnecting with friends and having fun.”
Formed in 1985 by the New Zealand Philatelic Federation (NZPF), the PYC promotes youth philately in New Zealand. The PYC now stands as an independent entity, although PYC reps said the council maintains a “special relationship” with the NZPF.
