The Week in Shows (March 25-31)

There’s one major show on the docket this week.

Today is the last day of the Edmonton Spring National Stamp Show, which is being hosted by the Edmonton Stamp Club at the Central Lions Recreation Centre on 11113 113 St. in Edmonton, Alta. The show is open today from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

In addition to a bourse with dealers from across Canada, the show includes 100 frames of competitive regional and national exhibits. The show cancel commemorates the 100th anniversary of the First World War Armistice. Admission and parking are both free.

Looking forward to next week, there are three major shows on the philatelic calendar: the two-day National Postage Stamp and Coin Show will be held in Mississauga, Ont. on April 7-8; the Medicine Hat Coin and Stamp Show will be held in Medicine Hat, Alta. on April 7; and Lonpex 2018 will be held in London, Ont. on April 7.
