The eagerly awaited Trajan Canada Specialized Stamp Catalogue is now available, offering Canadian collectors a fresh, comprehensive reference edited by long-time philatelic author and editor Robin Harris.
Produced entirely in Canada, the full-colour, one-volume catalogue incorporates the widely used Scott Numbering System. Harris, who brings decades of editorial experience to the project, said the goal was to combine clarity, accuracy, and visual appeal. “This project brings together the best of both worlds – clear, organized data with visually rich presentation,” he noted. “We’ve aimed to give collectors something both informative and enjoyable to use.”
Highlights include full-colour illustrations of all booklet panes and covers, detailed listings of Canadian presentation booklets, trial colour, die and plate proofs, specimen stamps, and an expanded identifier section for definitive issues. Several sections – such as thematic collections, pre-packaged stamps, commemorative envelopes, and Christmas Seals – have been significantly expanded, with some material appearing in print for the first time.
Intended as both a practical daily reference and a collectible keepsake, The Trajan Canada Specialized Stamp Catalogue reflects growing demand for modernized Canadian philatelic literature. Its user-friendly design, enhanced visuals, and comprehensive scope make it a valuable resource for both collectors and dealers.
The catalogue is available now with a special introductory offer through coinstampsupplies and will also be available this Sat., Aug. 16, at the Wasaga Beach Coin and Stamp Show.
