The Royal Philatelic Society of Canada (RPSC) is set to launch its spring edition of the popular Philately 101 webinar series, returning via Zoom with a fresh theme: “Different ways to collect.”
Held over three consecutive Tuesday evenings beginning May 20, the open-access series will highlight the wide-ranging and creative approaches philatelists use to build their collections. Each session will feature presentations by three experienced collectors, offering participants an engaging look at the diversity of philatelic interests—from classic themes to lesser-known niches.
“The idea is to showcase just a few of the many, many ways people can enjoy the hobby,” organizers noted. “Whether you’re new to philately or a long-time collector, these presentations offer something for everyone.”
The three-part lineup includes:
-
Tuesday, May 20 – Topical and Thematic Collecting
Presenters: Jean Wang, Larry Davidson and Derwin Mak -
Tuesday, May 27 – Postal History
Presenters: David Hobden, Ken Snelson and Gregg Redner -
