Prospective exhibitors for the Boston 2026 World Expo have until Sept. 30 to submit their entries. Unlike previous FIP exhibitions, applications for Boston 2026 are being accepted exclusively online at boston2026.org, where exhibitors can upload and revise their information as needed.
Deputy Commissioner General Dzintars Grinfelds, who is overseeing the online process, noted a recent surge in entries as the deadline approaches.
The expo welcomes both seasoned and first-time international exhibitors, with at least 20 per cent of total frames reserved for debut exhibits. Three competitions will be featured: the main FIP exhibition, the APS Champion of Champions, and the first U.S.-hosted Polar Salon, which accepts 1–10 frame exhibits focused on polar-themed philately. Lower fees and full medal opportunities apply to Polar Salon entries, with inquiries directed to Hal Vogel at halvogel@aceweb.com.
Grinfelds praised the efforts of national commissioners, crediting them for ensuring that 75 per cent of FIP exhibit classes already have competitive entries, including the new experimental First Day Cover class. Exhibit selection will take place in October, with acceptance notices sent out by mid-November. Boston 2026 runs May 23–30, 2026, at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.
