Canadians enjoy historic encounter at Boston 2026

Canadian collectors Jane Sodero and Jean Wang shared a lighthearted moment with “Benjamin Franklin” during this week’s Boston 2026 World Expo in Massachusetts.

The pair posed for a photo with Tim O’Connor, who was portraying Franklin — one of the most recognizable figures in American postal history and the first Postmaster General of the United States, appointed in 1775.

Boston 2026, one of the world’s largest international philatelic exhibitions, has attracted collectors, exhibitors, dealers and postal historians from around the globe. The week-long show features thousands of exhibit frames, society meetings, dealer booths, seminars and special events celebrating the worldwide hobby of stamp collecting.

Canadian collectors and exhibitors are well represented at the exhibition, which continues through the week at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

Canadian Stamp News welcomes photos and stories from Canadians attending Boston 2026. Readers are encouraged to send pictures, exhibit highlights and memorable moments from the show for possible publication online and in an upcoming issue. Please email photos and details to: info@trajan.ca.
