All-Canadian booth, dealers anchor Boston 2026 presence

Canadian collectors and societies are pressing ahead with plans to participate in Boston 2026, ensuring a national presence at one of the world’s premier international stamp exhibitions despite shifting travel patterns.

At the centre of the effort is the All-Canadian booth, which will be staffed by volunteers from across the country representing seven organizations: the British North America Philatelic Society, Canadian Aerophilatelic Society, Fédération québécoise de la philatélie, Postal History Society of Canada, Société de l’histoire postale du Québec, Royal Philatelic Society of Canada and the Vincent Graves Greene Philatelic Research Foundation.

The booth will serve not only as a showcase for Canadian philately but also as a central meeting place for Canadians attending the show, offering a convenient spot to connect, rest and engage with fellow collectors.

The exhibition, set for May 23 to 30 in Boston, Mass., is expected to draw strong global participation, with a strong contingent of Canadian exhibitors contributing entries across both competitive and literature classes.

The commitment comes at a time when fewer Canadians are travelling to the United States, with some collectors reconsidering cross-border trips in recent months. Even so, organizers say participation remains strong.

Canada’s presence will also extend to the bourse, where four Canadian dealers, Eastern Auctions, Sparks Auctions, Vance Auctions and Roy’s Stamps, will represent the country alongside a large international field. Full coverage of Canada’s role at Boston 2026 appears in the current issue of Canadian Stamp News.
