Edmonton Spring National Stamp Show this weekend

The Edmonton Spring National Stamp Show returns March 21–22, offering collectors and exhibitors a major national-level event and the only exhibition of its kind in Western Canada this year.

Hosted by the Edmonton Stamp Club, the show will be held at the Central Lions Senior Citizens Recreation Centre, at 113 St. and 111 Ave., with hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

The exhibition carries added significance as a World Series of Philately event, with the Grand Award winner earning the final qualifying spot for the American Philatelic Society’s 2026 Champion of Champions competition.

A wide range of competitive exhibits will be on display, with participants eligible for Royal Philatelic Society of Canada medal levels from bronze through large gold, along with several special awards recognizing excellence across different collecting areas.

This year’s theme, St. Joseph High School – a 50-year relationship, highlights five decades of Edmonton Stamp Club meetings held at the school. Exhibits that reflect or connect to the theme will receive special recognition.

In addition to the exhibition, the show will feature dealers from across Canada, circuit books, door prizes, a junior table and free stamp evaluations. A food bank donation box will also be available on site.
