Canadian exhibitors are encouraged to apply for two major international philatelic exhibitions taking place in 2026 under the patronage of the Fédération Internationale de Philatélie (FIP).
The first, the Macao 2026 Specialized World Stamp Exhibition, will be held from June 26 to July 1 at the Venetian Macao Conference & Exhibition Center. Later in the year, from Nov. 19 to 24, the PHILATAIPEI 2026 Specialized World Stamp Championship Exhibition will take place at the Taipei World Trade Centre.
Both exhibitions welcome multi-frame exhibits in a variety of classes, including Traditional, Postal History, Postal Stationery, Thematic, Revenue, Modern Philately, Youth Philately, Philatelic Literature, and Picture Postcards. PHILATAIPEI 2026 offers additional classes such as Aerophilately, Astrophilately, and Maximaphily. One-frame and non-standard frame exhibits are accepted under specific promotional or experimental classes depending on the show. Youth Philately is divided by age groups with corresponding frame limits, and Philatelic Literature exhibits include books, research papers, magazines, periodicals, and catalogues published within recent specified timeframes.
Exhibitors should note that entries not previously shown at an FIP exhibition must have earned at least a vermeil medal (75+ points) at a national-level show. The last Canadian qualifying opportunity for both exhibitions is CANPEX, scheduled for Oct. 18-19, 2025. Entry deadlines for Macao 2026 are Nov. 18, 2025, with acceptance notices by Jan. 20, 2026, and fees and title pages due by March 31, 2026. PHILATAIPEI 2026 deadlines are March 31, 2026, for entry submission, June 15 for acceptance notices, and July 15 for fees and title pages. Fees vary by class and range from US$70 to US$120 per frame or exhibit, with Youth Philately classes exempt from fees.
