‘Eastern hospitality,’ lobster and philately on tap for BNAPEX

People heading to Halifax, N.S. this September for BNAPEX, the annual convention of the British North America Philatelic Society, can expect to receive “an abundance of Eastern hospitality.” That’s the commitment of this year’s co-chairs: Gary Steele, George Lafontaine and Jeff Parks. All three are members of the Nova Scotia Stamp Club, which is co-hosting this year’s convention with the BNAPS Atlantic Regional Group. The three-day event officially opens on Friday, Sept. 15, and winds up Sunday evening with the popular awards banquet. However, dealers and exhibitors can set up on the Thursday. Continue reading →
