How eager/excited are you to return to in-person stamp shows?

I’m pretty jealous actually. I wish I could take part on these shows, but in Thailand, its dead quiet.
    Enjoy them!

Anxious for any number of reasons…….philatelic in nature, social, simply getting out. Fortunately, we will be able to do that within the next week.

It will be great to return to in-person shows, especially CAPEX22! Easier to quickly find the exhibit pages that interest you; to find and reexamine the highest scoring exhibits; to purchase stamps and souvenirs from foreign postal authorities. Also nice to be able to talk to anyone you already know or meet for the first time. Always nicer to talk face to face.

Have been to London 2022 and it was a blast! So nice to meet the stamp buddies, the dealers, view exhibits and do all the socializing. Still must be careful with masking and avoiding risky situations, but it can be done. Can’t wait for CAPEX 22, BNAPEX, CANPEX and all the others coming back. CAPEX 22 promises to be the centre of the philatelic universe for those 4 days in June!!!

I am in the US but am a Canadian stamp collector. There is a great Stamp Club in my area, but of course no one interested in Canadian except myself. Therefore, I purchase from Canadian dealers (for example, Longley Stamp dealer) through the Stamp Auction Network. Amazing quality with really inexpensive prices. You can tell these are the children of long time collectors who are selling these lots through the auction house. You can purchase entire lifetime stamp collections for under $100 CAN.

It will be perfect to get back to face to face shows, particularly CAPEX22! More straightforward to rapidly find the show pages that interest you; to find and rethink the most noteworthy scoring displays; to buy stamps and trinkets from unfamiliar postal specialists. Additionally ideal to have the option to converse with anybody you definitely know or meet interestingly. Continuously more pleasant to talk up close and personal.

    Thanks
