Ron Brigham’s ultimate pinnacle of winning the Grand Prix d’Honneur for his amazing exhibit, “Province of Canada – Pence issues 1851-1868” will forever be enshrined, thanks to the Postal History Society of Canada (PHSC). After hundreds of volunteer hours, the PHSC has released an elegant hardcover book that captures the rarities that made up Brigham’s extraordinary exhibit, which not only won the top honour in international philately but made the passionate philatelist the only Canadian to ever win the highest prize in competitive philately – a record that stands to this day.
