There are three shows on the philatelic calendar this week.
First up is the monthly Burloak Stamp Fair, which will return to Burlington, Ont.’s Seniors’ Centre on 2285 New St. on Jan. 20. A regular monthly gathering for the past two decades, the show is slated to feature about nine dealers buying and selling a range of philatelic material from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
ST. CATHARINES, ONT.
Sponsored by the St. Catharines Stamp Club, the 69th Cathex will be held Jan. 20 at the Grantham Lions Club on 732 Niagara St. in St. Catharines from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. The show will include 12 dealers, philatelic exhibits, a youth area and club circuit books. Admission and parking are both free.
QUÉBEC
Rounding out the week in shows is the International Stamp Show of Longueuil, which will be held Jan. 20-21 at the SandMan Hotel on 999 rue Sérigny in Longueuil, Qué. The show will be open on Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. There will be 15 dealers as well as a Canada Post draw.
