Since the retirement of long-time dealer John Jamieson last fall (“Saskatoon Stamp Centre to close as owner retires after five decades,” CSN Vol. 46 #16), many of his company’s online articles and exhibits have been transferred to the British North America Philatelic Society (BNAPS) website.
More than 20 articles previously hosted on his company’s website, which was taken offline in December, are now available via the BNAPS “Online Resources & Exhibits” (ORE) section.
Many of the articles were written in-house by Jamieson and his staff; however, other philatelists, including late CSN columnist Michael Nowlan, Unitrade Specialized Catalogue of Canadian Stamps editor Robin Harris, Scott catalogue editor emeritus James Kloetzel and Royal Philatelic Society of Canada archivist and historian Charles Verge, also made contributions.
The online exhibits from Jamieson’s old website are expected to be added to the ORE in February.
