BNAPS election this year

As it does every two years, the British North America Philatelic Society (BNAPS) is slated to hold an election this September.

The group currently has seven elected officers serving two-year terms, 10 elected directors serving four-year terms and about 20 appointed officials serving in roles ranging from journal editor to ethics chair.

“Working with fellow collectors is rewarding both in terms of philatelic discussion and personal friendships that develop. Reward yourself – get involved,” reads a statement issued by BNAPS in its monthly “eLetter.”

While five directors elected in 2018 are slated to serve until 2022, another five – Jeff Arndt, Mark Berner, Hugo Deshaye, Chris Green and David McLaughlin – will see their terms end this fall.

BNAPS members interested in serving as an elected official are invited to contact Nomination Chair William Walton at waltonwmc@aol.com.
