The Week in Shows (Jan. 7-13)

Show season is back in full swing with three major events on the docket this week.

First up is the 2018 Unipex Coin and Stamp Show, which will be held on Jan. 12-14 at Montecassino Hotel on 3710 Chesswood Dr. in North York, Ont. The 19th annual show will be open on Friday from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.; on Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; and on Sunday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

BRANTFORD, ONT.

On Jan. 13, the Brantford Stamp Club Annual Show will be hosted by the Brantford Stamp Club at a new location—the Branlyn Community Centre on 283 Brantwood Park Rd. in Brantford, Ont. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and close at 3 p.m. The bourse will include more than 15 dealers, several categories of stamp exhibits (including special categories for junior and novice collectors), silent auctions, club circuit books and door prizes. Admission and parking are both free.

MONCTON, N.B.

Also on Jan. 13, the Moncton Stamp Fair will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion on 100 War Veterans Ave. in Moncton, N.B. The show will run from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and admission as well as parking are both free.
