The Week in Shows (Jan. 21-27)

There are three shows on the philatelic calendar this week.

First up is the Scarborough Stamp Show, which will be held Jan. 27 at the Cedarbrook Community Centre on 91 Eastpark Blvd. in Scarborough, Ont. The bourse, which will be open from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., will feature up to four dealers buying and selling stamps and a range of five- and 10-cent club books. Parking is free.

BRITISH COLUMBIA

Also on Jan. 27 is the Okanagan Mainline Philatelic Association Stamp Show and Bourse, which will be held at Winfield Seniors Centre on 9832 Bottom Wood Lake Rd. in Lake Country, B.C. The show will be open from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and include a door prize as well as a stamp auction. Admission is free.

QUÉBEC

Rounding out the week in shows is the Coin and Stamp Show sponsored by l’Association des numismates et des philatélistes de Boucherville. It will be held Jan. 27-28 at De Mortagne School on 955 De Montarville in Boucherville, Qué. The show will be open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. both days, and the bourse will feature 35 dealers of coin and stamp material. Admission and parking are free.

NEXT WEEK

Looking forward to next week, there will be one show: the annual Bramalea Stamp Club Show and Bourse will be hosted by the Bramalea Stamp Club on Feb. 3 in Brampton, Ont.
