The Week in Shows (Dec. 4-10)

Now into the first week of December, we’re beginning to reach the final philatelic shows of 2016.

Today is the final day of the the Boucherville Coin and Stamp Show, which is being hosted at De Mortagne School on 955 De Montarville Blvd., in Boucherville, Que. Sponsored by l’Association des numismates et des philatélistes de Boucherville, the show is open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and features 35 dealers. Admission and parking are free.

SALEM, ORE.

Today is also the final day of the Salem Stamp and Coin Show, which is hosted by the Salem Stamp Society at the Oregon State Fairgrounds, fewer than six hours south of the Peace Arch Point of Entry at the border of British Columbia and Washington State. The show will be open from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m., and feature more than 70 dealer tables.

MONCTON, N.B.

Later this week, on Dec. 10, the Moncton Stamp Fair will be hosted at the Royal Canadian Legion on 100 War Veterans Ave., in Moncton, N.B. The show is slated to run from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., and admission is free.

CLUB MEETINGS

On Dec. 5, at 7 p.m., the Ukrainian Collectibles Society is slated to meet at the Ukrainian Community Centre on 482 Horner Ave., in Toronto.

On Dec. 8, at 6:30 p.m., the North Toronto Stamp Club will host its Festive Year-End Social and Potluck at Yorkminster Park Baptist Church Park on 1585 Yonge St., in Toronto.
